FEAST Weymouth is back for FOURTH year!

The dining event of the year, 2nd October to 30th November

FEAST Weymouth is looking forward to its fourth year (2nd October to 30th November) and restaurants have already began reserving places. The annual event is popular with diners and business owners alike, locals and visitors are enticed into the eateries throughout these quieter months by delicious menus offering great value. FEAST Weymouth is a real celebration of local independent cafes, restaurants and bars and is proudly supported and funded by Weymouth BID.

Boosting trade throughout the autumn months of October and November has been a welcome trend for the local businesses and more and more businesses are interested in taking part in the dining event. 

Jonathan Wills, manager of The Rex Hotel commented:

“The FEAST Weymouth event has always given us a good boost throughout the months of October and November – thank you!”

Despite being outside of the BID levy area, some businesses are making contributions to get involved as the benefits are clear to see.

Brahim Djeebet, manager of Billy Winters Diner commented: “This is our first year of taking part in FEAST Weymouth. We have always heard great things about FEAST from other chefs and diners and look forward to getting stuck in.”

FEAST Weymouth will kick off with a pop up kitchen, courtesy of Dorset Farmers Market in Weymouth town centre on Saturday 30th September and then the FEAST menus will be available from restaurants from Monday 2nd October until Thursday 30th November.  With even more choice, restaurants, cafes, pubs and grills will be offering set FEAST menus priced between £5 and £25. From French to Italian, Fish & Chips to waffles and everything in between, there will be something to suit all tastes and budgets. 

The pop up kitchen will see chef demos and any food traders wishing to set up on the day should also get in touch. Last year’s pop up kitchen was so popular and locals were treated to demos on how to prepare and crack crab to tasting various delicious ciders from The Stable’s very own Flagon Wagon.

Set menus are priced at £5, £10, £15, £20 or £25, and diners are strongly encouraged to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
