Don't Feed the Locals!

Beware - don't feed the locals

As we know our beautiful, beach, harbour and outside eateries are often plagued by seagulls attempting to steal food from unsuspecting visitors. The seagulls often swoop down to take food from locals hands, mouths and more often than not, from small children and elderly people. A campaign has been launched to discourage people from feeding the seagulls, a practice which only acts as encouragement for seagulls to take food from humans. Weymouth BID are encouraging businesses to get behind the "Don't Feed the Locals" campaign.

Please read the this letter for more information.
