Sponsorship Opportunities

There are many sponsorship opportunities at the Weymouth BID that businesses can benefit from the We Are Weymouth brand.

Every year the BID will host and finance at least 8 events which are held out of season to entice visitors and locals into the town.

  • February Half Term
  • October Half Term - Schools Out page on WeAreWeymouth website
  • Easter Family Event
  • Out Loud Music Festival - Own Microsite on WeAreWeymouth
  • Feast Weymouth - Celebration of local dining
  • Big Christmas

In addition the BID also supports other local events such as

  • Maritime Literary Festival - March 
  • Best of Dorset - June
  • Fayre in the Square - May
  • Dorset Seafood Festival - July

The WeAreWeymouth brand on Facebook has a following of over 14,000 people.

The weekly reach from the Facebook following is in the region of 30k.

The WeAreWeymouth website had over 18000 sessions in December 2015 and on average a monthly session rate of 9000 which is growing daily.

The Springboard Footfall cameras in the town regular report an increase of 15% in footfall on the previous year. (see footfall figures)

Via Media partnerships - most BID events are seen / heard by over 500k people across South and West Dorset. 

The Weymouth BID also has annual media partnership arrangements set up with the Dorset Echo and Wessex FM who promote all BID and BID supported events throughout the year.

The annual exposure for businesses is considerable via
