We Are Weymouth welcomes funding applications for projects that support the core aims of the BID’s Business Plan – Improving Weymouth, Marketing Weymouth and Shaping Weymouth.
Please be advised that continuous funding for projects is not a guarantee, and that we encourage projects to apply to other grant funding bodies as part of their application.
Whilst the board are happy to consider all funding applications, success is dependant on alignment with the BID 3 business plan and available funds.
Once received, the Operations Team will acknowledge receipt, and your application will be discussed by the BID’s Board of Directors at their next meeting. You may be invited to attend this meeting to answer questions or provide additional information about your application.
When assessing your application, the board will consider whether the application meets the essential criteria, details of which can be found on the last page of the application form.
We recommend that your application is made as early as possible before the event or project, but in any case, no later than four months before the start of your project ( Ideally 6mths).
