We Are Weymouth, Weymouth’s Business Improvement District is egg-cited to announce a cracking new family-friendly experience this spring! In partnership with High Street Safari, The Great Egg-scape is a FREE augmented reality (AR) story trail launching in Lodmoor Hill and along Dorchester Road, just in time for Easter.
This interactive trail invites families to join the Doggie Detectives on a mission to solve the mystery of the missing Easter Bunny’s friends. Hidden behind puzzling doors, each character must be rescued using clues, code-cracking, and a sprinkle of Easter magic. Using just a smartphone, families can see the characters come to life in augmented reality, snap selfies, make memories, and explore together in a fun, safe and engaging way.
Perfect for locals and visitors alike, this contactless experience encourages everyone to discover more of Weymouth’s unique areas. Whether you’re popping into the shops or out for a stroll, this trail brings a sense of adventure to your day. And with some local businesses offering special discounts to trail-goers, there’s even more reason to take part!
